WBM Engraving Service
Thanks for your interest in engraving services by Waterton Brass Music. We engrave
all of our music with Sibelius®. Just send us your (legible) manuscript
and we'll send you a quote for engraving labor and estimated completion
date. We'll provide you with the Sibelius® file and a high-quality
PDF for your records. Additional options are listed below.
Our engraving service is generally quoted based on the estimated time needed for completion (labor). The original Sibelius® file and high-quality (pre-press) PDF files are provided, but we can also print and mail hard copies as well. Scores and parts are printed at $2.00 per page (each side if double-sided) plus our flat-rate shipping charge (or expedited shipping if you prefer). Bound scores (11x17 folded, stapled) are provided at $2.50 per page, which includes single-sided originals. Additional bound scores, after the first, are $1.00 per page.

- Original Sibelius® .SIB file + PDF Score & Parts (on data CD): $2
- Sibelius® .SIB Extracted Parts (on data CD): $1 each part
- High-Resolution graphic files [*.jpg, *.tif] (on data CD): $1 each file/page
- Standard Printed Parts: $2 each side
- Performance (65lb card stock) Printed Parts: $2.25 each side
- Printed Score: $2 per page
- Bound Score: $2.50 per page (includes 1-sided originals)
- Add'l bound scores: $1 per page
- Sibelius® Synthesized .WAV & .MP3 files (on data CD): $5
- Sibelius® Synthesized Playable Audio CD: $6
Please note all data files will be compiled onto one data CD
For example, a 3-minute brass quintet piece with average dynamic/articulation markings, and average combination of note values (one page of all 16th notes takes longer than one page of quarter notes) should take no longer than 2 hours of labor (which will have a totally unrelated completion date). So, you could expect to pay around $85 (more or less) for a 3-minute, Brass Quintet engraving with a 4-page bound score, 5 printed parts, Sibelius® file, and PDF score with parts - and it should be ready within one week. Of course, each piece is different, and we'll give you a binding estimate (the most you have to pay, no surprises). That doesn't include changes to the original manuscript after our work is completed. Payments must be made in advance. Please contact R.
