Johan Ernst Altenburg's Concerto for 7 Trumpets and Timpani, arranged and edited for Youth Trumpet Ensemble. Reduced from 7 to 6 trumpets with more equal distribution of play time for both choirs. The key has been lowered and a few rhythms altered to make this accessible (but still true to the original) for high school and very well-prepared middle school trumpet sections. The parts are numbered appropriate to difficulty. I arranged this for and performed it with a middle school trumpet section, so I know it's accessible and fun to teach. - RKP
